Even 50% of something would be better than doing nothing. Its not about proving that your better by having a badge. It was an incentive put there by bungie to help entice people to donate. You get a t-shirt, an emblem, and a shader. Does it mean your special? No But it does say something about the persons character and the way they choose to live. They at least gave something. You cant really criticize for that.
