  • I've been thinking hard recently about House of Wolves coming to Destiny soon, and I wanted to make some ideas. EDIT: Many support. Much happy. Wow. EDIT: I have added a couple of new ideas. If you see EDIT above it then you'll know it's a newer idea. Exotic Auto Rifle Name: Under The Bed Type: Void Description: "Child, have you heard of the Boogeyman? He preys on those who close their eyes. That is why they invented the nightlight". Exotic Perk: Nightlight You deal double damage to stealth enemies Exotic Machine Gun Type: Solar Name: Juggernaut Description: "Salvaged from parts of a Cabal Heavy Slug Thrower, this weapon is unique in standards unrecognised among Guardians. You see, instead of firing heavy slugs, it fires unrelenting pain." Exotic Perk: Bullet Sponge You are tougher to kill while firing this weapon Exotic Shotgun Name: Sticks and Stones Type: Solar Description: "They might sting a bit, but this WILL hurt you." Exotic Perk: Stone Cold This weapon fires slugs instead of regular ammo (this would increase range, impact and damage by a considerable amount, but destabilise it, shorten the magazine size and slow the firing rate) EDIT: This would be interchangeable between normal ballistic types, so you could choose Soft Ballistics, CQB Ballistics or Stone Cold. The filler perk would be rangefinder in place of where the exotic perk usually goes. EDIT: Exotic Handcannon Name: Karmageddon Type: Void Description: "I try to live with the idea that karma is a very real thing. So I put out what I think they deserve." - Dregden Yor Exotic Perk: Ouroboros Critical kills charge your Super, non-critical kills charge your grenade and assisted kills charge your melee. (Note: If you even so much as hit an enemy, it counts as an assist unless you kill it, in which it becomes a kill) Exotic Scout Rifle Name: Metallic Anarchy Type: Kinetic Description: "Total collapse in it's purest form." Exotic Perk: Chaos Damage Each round fired from this weapon is a different damage type, eg. Arc, then Solar, then Void or any random combo (this would be excellent for rainbow burn in Nightfall activities) Exotic Fusion Rifle Name: Himneska Type: Solar Description: "Thought to born from the Traveller's light, this weapon is everything that the stories imply." Exotic Perk: Shattering Light This weapon deals double damage to shields (that means PvE enemy shields, player shields and Ward of Dawn) Note: 'Himneska' means 'heavenly' in Icelandic Exotic Titan Gauntlets Subclass: Striker Name: Open Hostilities Description: "Only in the thick of battle do the strongest survive." Exotic Perk: Grand Finale You may have Shockwave and Aftermath simultaneously Exotic Titan Helmet Name: Polypheme 47 Subclass: Defender Description: "You will protect them. You will fight with them. You will heal them. You are their sentinel." Exotic Perk: Unrivalled Light Your Ward of Dawn decreases the cooldown of allied Supers and drains enemy Supers (Teammate cooldown is decreased dramatically while enemy cooldowns go in reverse. This all happens INSIDE the WoD) Exotic Titan Chestpiece Subclass: Either Name: Pachydermals Description: "They say this is the skin from a long extinct creature. However, it appears to just be reinforced plasteel plating." Exotic Perk: Blast Shield Explosive damage from all sources is decreased by 50% Exotic Hunter Gauntlets Subclass: Either Name: Strongarm Special Description: "...and that's all I could hear. Those victorious screams. Then, suddenly, silence." Exotic Perk: Home Run Your grenades travel twice as fast and ignore shields (Can pass through Wards of Dawn too) Exotic Warlock Chestpiece Subclass: Either Name: Wise Ahamkara's Ribs Description: "Oh bearer mine, how does one learn the secrets of the wise?" "In death, young one." Exotic Perk: Secrets of the Dead You may use two different grenades from a subclass (so, for example, you could use a fusion grenade and a solar grenade as a Sunsinger or an Axiom bolt and a scatter grenade as a Voidwalker.) (Note: Functions like Gift of the Sun, but instead of two of the same grenade, its one of one and one of another) EDIT: Exotic Hunter Helmet Subclass: Either Name: Mortality Cage Description: "Little do those Warlocks know, us Hunters have some space magic of our own."
