DROP BALANCE - Gjallarhorn
Dear Bungie,
i'm a player that play Destiny from September and never, nver, got the Gjallarhorn.
I see a lot of guardians that drop it, guardians that play Destiny from a couple of weeks, i saw someboy have like 7 or more Gjalla on deposit.
I'm really tired and angry, every week is the same story, i drop always shit from nightfall,all atheon, all crota and all activities never get me a legendary engram.
Question is, am i insert in a sort of blacklist?
i can't understand why bungie does not recognize faithful players.
Please, give me a real answer.

4 RepliesRNG RNGRNGRNGRNG RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR RANDOM!!!!! Lol do I need to say it again? It's random. Everything has an equal chance to drop but there is a lot of different guns.. And a lot of different exotics... So first you think about the chance of getting an exotic which is really low... Then you have to think of all the exotics in the pool... And then multiply by the number of weapons to see your chance at getting a particular one... I watched a video of a guy getting dragons breath and gjallarhorn from the cryptarc at the same time... It's all totally [b]random[/b]

I've sharded 2 since the dlc dropped. I've gotten at least 6 or 7 since I've started playing the game. Lately it's been the most common exotic for me. Random sucks but it will happen eventually.

PoE keys and large chest. I saw 2 drop yesterday on 2 separate runs. Sadly, they were both sharded.

I felt the same way bro, i got it 2 days ago. Im a week two player btw. Hang in there bro it will eventually drop.

Tnx[/quote] Destiny is a rng (random number generator) which means you lucked out on gjallarhorn so have I I've been playing since launch day and I don't have a gjallarhorn and u don't see me cry about it

I have done every nightfall except 1 and I couldn't even tell you how many raids and i still don't have one. I took 2 first timers in the raids and they both got one. One from the vault and the other from Crota in the same night. Now here I am with the HoW and still have no gally, but I have got from all of this has been 10 dragons breath. I got my 10th from the prison of elders. But I will keep going. It just sucks that I don't have one.

Keep your head up. A buddy of mine was in the same boat. Day 1 player never had the gun drop for him while he watched multiple clan mates get not 1 launchers but multiples. Finally we go into the lvl 28 Poe for the first time with the stupid keys and what does he magically get? Yup he finally had got the lucky drop of the gally. So hopefully the same goes for you.

Ive done Crota countless times VOG countless times all the nightfalls possible. Its just really getting sadder and sadder every time. If you guys would please help me with the loot system or something I'm not asking to give it to me i will love to earn it. Like i feel that i see my friends and they all have 3 and still get them to dismantle, one of my friends has 3 one on each carracter and 9 in the vault. Hopefully Bungie you guys can help me, always been a big fan of your work never complained not even for halo 1,2,3 or reach which i love and enjoy. All I can say is stick in there because it took me over 920 hours and got my first gjallarhorn this week in a normal crota at the deathsinger. I know it feels like a blacklist but it's just RNG. I can say it's worth the grind and weekly disappointments in nightfall and raids. A friend of mine had the same thing with his vex mythoclast, it dropped over 20 times for me before he got his 1st. He has is now and is as happy as a kid in a candy store.

No such thing as a black list just rng. I've been playing since September too and just recent got mine. The rng is a bitch but coming here to complain won't change anything

I understand what your saying but as someone without the gjallarhorn aswell you need to think of it as just another exotic. Enjoy he freedom of using an exotic primary and special because if you get it you will never use them again

Look man you're not the only person. There are many other people who haven't got it too. Some have dropped it more than once and some still have the one they bought in week two (me). Be patient and keep grinding. Good luck Guardian!
