I have every member of congress brought before a military tribunal for fraud, crimes against the nation, and whatever crime I can find.
I have the nation elect fresh congressman. All of which will be normal people, who are educated. Not lawyers, or career politicians.

No it wouldn't, I would keep it stable for a few years through military dictatorship.

Nah. Population wouldn't let you. Maybe if they'd always been under a dictatorship, but going from democracy to that? They'd tear you apart, even if the military didn't turn on you, too.

Doubt anyone would support you, so the rest of the gov't would override your authority. Besides that, shit, everyone's got a point where they'll stop and say "no, I'm sorry, this is bs." Not saying the entire military would desert, but I think enough would to cause chaos. Civil war's happened before.
