So what I'm hearing is that the beat combo is crowd control, Zen moment and field scout?

Crowd control is useless on this gun. It's 2 crits, 3 body shots regardless. Any reload perk spray and play, outlaw, and field scout is the must have. It one shots almost everything. Even Crota hard acolytes. Why would u need an extra 15% dmg?

I use outlaw, send it, and crowd control it's pretty good

Crowd control is great but for me the only requirements for Timurs are outlaw in the first perk slot and and field scout some where in the second, the third isn't really that important.

Agree 100%. Some people say explosive rounds but I'd much rather have field scout. I have one with each, and I never use the one with explosive rounds anymore. It felt like I was reloading constantly.

It felt like I was reloading constantly.[/quote] Same, people tried to argue that with luck as my third perk I should run explosive or anything other than field scout because of the "better chance for the two shot" but that's just an absurd way to play IMO, even with 3/13 on hawkmoon it's not possible to expect the two shot in any way, 1/7 certainly isn't either, so 1/13 is fine with me. The animation on Explosive rounds bothers me as well, just obscures my vision I guess. With outlaw and field scout the thing is total beast in PVP and PVE.

Honestly if you have hc reload guants and flared magwell it reloads just as fast as outlaw. I have Spray and play, flared magwell and final round and it's instant reload when mag is empty. Outlaw doesn't get faster due to magwell and reload guants, but spray and play does.

Ah, I didn't even think about outlaw. I just think CC because I do PvE more.
