Any tactics to counteract twinblades? I've gotten moderately decent at PvP but the twinblades always slaughter me.

Shield + spear.

If you struggle to parry them, keep your distance and use a long weapon. Twinblades have a very short range.

I haven't quite got the parry down yet in general. I miss about half the time.

As a twinblade user, they are hard to parry. Never once have I been succesfully parried. If your opponent is good at baiting attacks, you will likely lose. It is all about poise damage. I can stun lock you for ten hits and score ridiculous damage or bleed buildup If I want. You just have to keep moving and never let them get a heavy attack string off. They are deadly af.

The reach on them seems ungodly too

It is quite short, excpet for the red iron winblade. But using that is basically cheating

Parry and don't let them counter you. Maintain your distance and punish.

Look up a youtuber/twith guy name Praisethesun. He has a vid on the twinblade parries, among tons of other pvp tutorials for lots of weapons and strategies. Hope this helps
