Hell no. What's the point of even doing PoE or any endgame then? Remember, you get armor core from 32, which gives you 42 light gear. Add in ascending an exotic with the shard and you'd be 33. Then you could try your luck with a solid team at 34, and this is all day one. I won't mention that the etheric light is [supposedly] going to be possible nightfall loot.
