Sure, its easy for goku since the writers made him invincible, same as batman, batman can take out anyone because the writers make it that way
Its just lazy
Anyone could create a character and write him up to be a god that can kill everyone by looking at them its just -blam!-ing stupid

Except he is brought back by the dragon balls and thus does not matter if he dies 10000 times and each time he comes back he is stronger than before.

His enemies also get stronger. Remember Broly? And Cell? Goku had to push himself to his limits in order to fight them. And that was after one full year of continuous training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
