Who would win if it was the Covenant vs a [Destiny covenant] ?
Physically They are kinda equal( kinda...)
I have my opinions but I'll leave it to the forums
[EDIT]- best destiny defense- "The Destiny ones cuz they probably learned our ways of cheering and they will cheese the covenant"-EarthLink 7
[EDIT]- best neutral defense "There's a lot to consider: some of the Destiny enemies may come from different realities, there may be entire universes filled with Vex and Hive. The Covenant certainly have superior technology.
Unfortunately, the Covenant won't stand much of a chance; the Cabal and Fallen would tear their fleets to pieces.
The Covenant have a better chance on the ground. Elites will position Jackal snipers to counter vandals and hobgoblins, hunters will take the front and wipe out hive knights. Minotaurs will prove tricky with their constant teleporting, though.
Elites will take cover only to be flushed out wizards, exposing them to the onslaught of boomers and hydras. Both brutes and elites will have to work together to hold their lines. Drones will be necessary to distract and confuse. Too many variables!"- J rockMage2

I've been thinking this over since destiny came out (I do DND and was even going to do a destiny/halo crossover universe) the fallen and elite are very similar. Both use camo, strategy and swords. They also have similar leadership builds. So they would probably be very even and it would come down to battle experience. The brutes and cabal are also very similar. Using more brutal and powerful methods and vehicles. Granted the brutes are less technically advanced they're more agile so again fairly even. The hive is similar to the flood (ever punch a hive and notice human like skulls as they disintegrate?) But the flood is more connected and would most likely work with or assimilate the hive. Now the vex are tricky since they're much like the prometheans. In some of the lore it even suggests that prometheans could control events in the universe and were its keepers (time travel perhaps?) Either way they are both the most advanced of all and could make for a very interesting battle

Literally any of the Warminds.

If we add in flood, precursors, or fore runners then each solo the whole destiny universe. Elites have training slightly below that of a spartan but I'm not sure on there current numbers but depending on the numbers they could also solo. The hardest would be vex due to time travel and teleportation but all halo enemies can warp instantly. Time travel for vex only works in the vault according to grimoire. So I think halo pretty easily wins.

I think the Vex alone would win. Halo had some epic battles, the Covenant definitely have major artillery, but each of the respective Darkness armies has some scary bosses. The Covenant weren't summoning dark gods from across the universe. Also, the Covenant got to Earth and fought us on a couple fronts. The Darkness pretty much wiped out mankind.
-
The fallen and cabal are easy enough pickings but the hive and vex are intergalactic.
-
The covenant can glass planets
-
The last time I checked, destiny's enemies didn't have the grunt. Grunt wins against everyone.
-
Megalekgolo solos the following: Guardians Vex Hive Cabal
-
Do the Covenant get access to the Halo array? If yes, Covenant win. If no, Randal the Vandal is cleaning house.
-
The Destiny ones cuz they probably learned our ways of cheering and they will cheese the covenant
-
Well let's talk about this interns of the heroes, the guardians vs master chief and the UNSC (to include everyone fighting their respective enemies) each of these groups struggle to beat their enemy so we know whoever wins this would be fighting a more dangerous enemy. I think chief and the UNSC would win because of the scorpion tank and chief together The covenant is more dangerous

Covies have a scarab Meanwhile you guys are still taking their pikes

Covenant would destroy destiny enemies easy. Their technology is far superior and they are much better equipped for war

Still no WorldofWumbo? Is he on holiday or something? Where is he...? Maybe he's given up!

They might be equal. Now if you include the Flood... Well that's a different story.

The covenant with their -blam!-ing OP plasma pistols.

Can anyone come up with a good argument as to how the Darkness can beat the Covenant? I think that any one covenant species could solo the Darkness
