Or, ooooor, you could be religious like me, but believe that God created Evolution and while Adam and Eve may be plausible, since it seemed like there were other cities outside of Eden for no reason, The Noah's Ark part is crap probably added in by the Church.
What I'm saying is, I believe that God made evolution, which resulted in Adam and Eve with their surrounding cities. Noah and his family however, isn't very plausible since that suggests we are all brothers and sisters. That was probably done on purpose by a church to make it where people might treat each other better, but if it were true, most of us would have some sort of problem. Mental, or physical.
TL; DR: What if God created evolution, and the Noah's Ark deal was something added by a church?

I don't think Adam and Eve existed because how would there offspring reproduce?

Because in the Bible, when Cain killed Abel, there were already other cities outside of Eden, or at least tribes upon which Cain built cities. It seemed like Adam and Eve may have been the first humans (or our common ancestor with apes, whatever you want to call them), but God may have created more elsewhere to see how they fare. Does that make sense?

Now this is the part why I said that after the flood, Noah's family intermarried, meaning that their children's children married each other, which inevitably caused some major biological changes. They started to eat meat, and they started to degrade their life longevity. Sorry for the late response. This, is mostly just a belief of mine. I'm religious, but not a church goer. I don't know if this is right or wrong. And to your first paragraph, God wouldn't have a handicap. He could have created evolution to see how it would play out, and to establish a point for how animals and people would grow. And when you mentioned that all humans are cousins three billion times removed, I mentioned that Adam and Eve may be possible, mainly because there were other cities outside of Eden when Cain was banished. That was a really well written argument. I admire it, but what I commented was a belief of mine, not a fact. I will however, make sure to take these into consideration next time. Have a nice day.
