Because God no longer operated like that since the apostolic age, no one today literally talks to God since we now have His Word and Holy Ghost. All of those who claim to have been in physical contact with God is all untrue. How did God act as He appeared to every human after the death of Christ, He came to every individual in His glorious state. Today, that no longer occurs since we have His Word.
