After from what I've seen, yes. Only because the fact if someone lags out at the boss round of the Arenas where you can earn Etheric Light, you cannot get them back or a replacement, so all of that time was wasted and you have to start over. (Providing it doesn't happen again.) If Bungie chooses to fix this problem, then no, Xûr should not sell them. If this problem persists, then Xûr should sell them, but at a high stake. In my opinion, 25-35 Strange Coins for 1 Etheric Light sounds good. Maybe even 40 Strange Coins for 1 Etheric Light. Call me idiotic for that amount, but I agree with others on this post that this game should be more of a challenge to hit 34. Then again, I've seen someone at 34 already in the first day.

Wait, so if you lag out it says you've received the rewards for the week even though you clearly lagged out and received nothing? Or did I just read something wrong?

Edited by Quidifur: 5/20/2015 9:04:38 AMIn the room on round 5, before you go out, if someone lags out they cannot join back or someone else cannot join in. It just says they are too close to finishing it so yo u either have to two man it, which is near impossible, or just leave it. Once you beat the boss you can get the rewards but even then you have to go down to the chest room so if you lag out then, it'd probably do the same. Bungie just needs to fix it. Like, why can people join as Atheon/Crota/Nightfall Boss die and still get loot, yet you can't get someone back when it is needed most. I hope they fix it soon.

So you can't do it again for armor core/weapon core of you lag out... That's awful.

You can, you just have to start all over again. But they do count as weeklies so once you get to the chest room and lag out, it's basically game over. And I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to spend another 2-3 hours retrying it to get one weekly thing before I even kill the final boss. We were so upset but just cut our losses and are saving it for another day. :/

Wait, what's this weekly thing you are talking about that you have to get to start over?

The weekly arenas, the 32, 34, and 35 ones. But even in the basic 28 arena you have to start over if someone leaves/lags out at the boss round, unless you think you can two man it. But the weekly ones have a revive time and no self-respawn after 30 seconds, so it takes a lot more skill to survive than the 28 ones.

Oh I understand now. Makes sense and yeah that's really stupid. I agree something like that should be fixed.
