What's the point in watching guides when the fun is trying to overcome a strategy by yourself.

That's how I feel, but not how everyone feels
assuming this isn't a rhetorical question, you answered the others so...
Because not everyone gets fun out of that. It's more akin to how some people love certain rides in Busch Gardens for example. Some love log flume while others like the coasters. Not everyone has fun flying at 60MPH upside down or such, not everyone likes going through a burning building in a log and getting launched at the end. It's a behavioral/personality trait from what I can tell, how you get your fun. Certain people don't have fun getting to the reward, but have fun opening the treasure and seeing a brand new gold pop into the corner of their screen. You may have fun doing it, I do too, but take into account people aren't all the same. I have much more fun trying out a new and successful stratagem then I do blindly running around. And I absolutely love getting rewarded for a good match, that's my favorite part. But I don't get much fun from irritations like my last game, I ran out of ammo whilst soloing; Juggler, cabal boss in PoE. I had planned to invite my friend who was waiting in patrol, ours was to split up and meet at the end. Didn't work out fairly obviously, not like planned. That's an irritation to me, I had to change it up. The most advice I can give for this type of thing is to use "it's more fun for me" instead of calling it a fact, using "it's more fun" without the added part at the end would be as if to say it's hard fact 100% of the time. I'll gladly take a debate for this, I love debating stuff. That or you can guess (incorrectly) that I'm being aggressive, and which case your reply would be characterized by aggression itself and I will go about my day ignoring it. I'm hoping the former, but this place (#Destiny) has a way of always attracting hate so I'll plan for the worst, hope for the best.

Yes i understand but i hate writing with the Phone. I think I'll never understand some people, but I think that's what's great of life! ;)

Never underestimate the power of addiction.
-
That's sad, i beat the crap out of urrox with my friends after trying different strategies and that was soo fun. gonna try lvl 35 today and still I'll enjoy way more the play time then the loot time
-
Without Raids, at least I won't hear "hey I have a exotic chest checkpoint" anymore. Trying to push that easy fix on me lol. I'd rather earn it. Or just play Crucible. Loot addicts are annoying.
-
At least there are no guides for pvp.
-
Yep. I'd quit if there was a cheesy PvP guide out there.
-
There can't be. None can teach you reflexes and and smart choices at right moment. None but experience and your brain
-
Maybe that's not the fun for some people. Maybe the fun is getting that shiney new exotic. It's a game for me I don't care how hard I work at it I just want the loot.
-
There are a lot of easier games with more loots than destiny :/
-
Easier does not equal more enjoyment
-
Infact how can you enjoy replying what another person tell you to do just for some random loot.. I prefer using my brain.
-
Exactly, it's just a preference, everyone has one and they're all different. Don't be so close minded. Doesn't make you superior because you like to spend more time on something
-
I never feel like superior, but I like sharing my ideas, maybe it sounded like that, but it wasnt meant to
