Hunters do have a role in PoE.
Lets say if your 2 teammates die. You can wait the 30 seconds and revive them. But lets say if there is a lot of enemies by them, just got invisible! You could save the fireteam for that! I know this wouldnt make sense to people that say Hunters are useless in PoE...

I had to pop invis and save the team several times i don't know how many times a warlock would revive just to make in 5 ft and die again
