The PROPER Chest Etiquette
EDIT: after all the cyber bullying of me in this thread, I have decided to kill myself. Thank you for your time. I blame my upbringing. I was taught to always do the right thing, even if it meant being persecuted, but I now see the error of my ways. rip.
I understand that the community as a whole has been abusing game mechanics to get ahead. I have been doing my part to prevent this, and I hope you will all do the right thing and join me on my quest to end this sickening abuse.
Here is how you can help in ending this problem:
DON'T GLITCH YOURSELF! There is no point to glitching as you can only get one key per chest. Also, how can you live with yourself knowing you cheated to get ahead in this game? Cheating doesn't get you ahead in real life.

Edit: since so many people seem to have missed the point: if you kill yourself on the chest, people can't open it. The option to revive you overrides it. You can use this to prevent filthy cheaters from cheating.
Edit: steel jets can't melt fuel beams.

Farming ether keys is one of the few ways we can't stick it in bungie/activision's face that we don't want to grind like we used to have to. Minimizing effort and maximizing reward is my philosophy on this. We don't get checkpoints for prison of elders, we have mandatory cutscenes, and have fly to the tower/reef every 5 seconds all so they can brag to their investors about how much time people spend playing destiny... If they are going to exploit the players for their future investments, then I feel I have the right to exploit their game, for my in-game future investments. [spoiler]i doubt you've ever grinded for relic iron before you could purchase it.
