Bungie does it again!! Makes an event all about gjallarhorn
Level 35 prison of elders is all about the gjallarhorn. I'm a day one player and haven't gotten it to drop. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if everyone wasn't so caught up with finding someone with a gally.
I don't even care about the weapon but I don't have a group of friends that plays all the time so I play with randos. Finding groups gets real tough if you don't have a gjallarhorn. Then all you hear the whole time it's damn you're really screwing us man. When the guy who is saying that has died 35 times and I've died ten. All but one due to both my teammates dying.

Had yet another guy just after finishing hard vault of glass tell me that I couldn't join him and another player because I didn't have gjallarhorn. Lol ridiculous.

The mods are rotated each week so if you have thunder lord you'll be good next week.

1 ReplyNot true that it's centered around ghorns, I had a guy on my fireteam with a Dragon's Breath, his aim was unreal and the solar flares just melted Skolas. I was beyond impressed and it proved the player makes the weapon. Still in awe he had Skolas just bathing in fire.

2 RepliesI don't like hearing people moan about not having it (I haven't) but I hate unsporting behaviour more. Teamwork is teamwork. As long as you play and have fun who cares. I've never kicked anyone from a party and I never will (unless they are annoying).

Bungie will rotate the burn on the Skolas encounter. Ghorn won't always be the best tool for the job.

It was so hectic and probably the most fun and challenging thing so far in Destiny. Lots of fun.

1 ReplyI won't take someone on my team for 35 poe without it maxed 365. The best and I'm only way to beat skolas is with three 365 gjorns and one titan weapons of light. He goes down quick.

Did the 35 with 2 34 and a 33, only two gallys, so you don't need one, they are just insecure.

I own a few ghorns but I'd rather use IB and HOC then my spear and ghorn... I would use BH and ghorn though. if only I could ever get a damn BH to drop.
