Am i the only one who is NOT trying to be 34 week one?
honestly I was kind of hoping not to reach 34 this week and I haven't. ive been upgrading guns, doing the new missions, acquiring awesome gear and just having a good time enjoying the new content. I know ill eventually get to 34 but I am in no rush at all. am I the only one?

Im in no rush.. It shouldnt take anymore then 3 weeks anyways and in that time i can lvl up guns etc. Its all good fun. Do want that lord of wolves though.

1 ReplyThe thing with HoW is the grind isn't about getting to 34, it's about what you can do at 34, which is what it should be. The grind is now about finding the guns you like, since getting the armor isn't too hard. It's a step in the right direction.

I love grinding so becoming 34 was easy. But with this expansion you have plenty of content so reaching 34 is just the beginning. There are loads of weapons...gear to obtain, and bountys. Good luck in your quests...

Playing it character by character seems to work a charm. I have a 34, 33 and 31, this way I have a character for high level ToO/PoE what-not but with another two to progress with as the weeks go by.

On another note i aam still pondering what kind of 2nd class i should take... titan or another warlock....

Honestly I don't see the rush this time around. I'm taking my time having fun and trying new load out/perks/stats etc. Being 34 isn't the endgame this time. It's having 34 sets of gear that all work together and most importantly look good. Like real good.

I didn't rush and got 2 to 34 easily. I'll have my third up probably tonight.

Trials of Osiris is making me question whether or not I can stay at 32 but otherwise I'm in no hurry

Yeah I wasn't trying to either but it was just so damn easy lol that doesn't mean I'm out of content though. Sooo many weapons to upgrade/reforge. Sooo many weapons to obtain! Still need the exotic armor! So while I only have one 34 (could have 2, but I want my Hunter to look like how I want him to and not already how he looks) I still have work to do!

It's pretty hard not to be 34 in the first week when it's possible to have 3 34's purely by doing PoE and trials haha

No. Saving cores and light. Seeing what armour is for sale for cores next week to try get to 34 that way and using light for guns

I'm working on armor setups so I'm grinding marks to get good vendor gear. I'll get there when I get there.

3 RepliesIt's no longer about getting to 34. It's about getting all your gear ascended. I'm 34 on two of my characters (Titan and Warlock). But right now the only swapping I can do with them is exotic helmets. That's OK for now, but there's still plenty of work to be done to make them more flexible 34s. And then there's the weapons. I have 3 Fatebringers and I want all of them ascended. Same with my black hammers. VOC is on that list. At least 1 Vestian Dynasty. I have ascended all of my Exotics, so that's out of the way. But I still have most of the new ones to acquire, as well as a 4th Horseman.

I play to have fun, love the new gear and content. Level ain't overly important to me. Having fun is. So far I am. A lot of fun.
