Am i the only one who is NOT trying to be 34 week one?
honestly I was kind of hoping not to reach 34 this week and I haven't. ive been upgrading guns, doing the new missions, acquiring awesome gear and just having a good time enjoying the new content. I know ill eventually get to 34 but I am in no rush at all. am I the only one?

1 ReplyYup no rush at all for me. I do have 5 etheric light though, but I just don't wanna waste them. I wanna take my time and prioritize all the gear I want to ascend

I didn't try. I ascended a helm, got the gloves from variks, went an unexpectedly good 6-3 in ToO, and got an etheric light from the reward package. That ascended my boots and the trials chest plate completes my set. Didn't play more than few hours.

I wasn't planing but all my friend did so I did get 34

I haven't even gotten past the third mission. There's no rush.

Nah bruh, trust me. I'd prefer to use my Etheric Light to Upgrade Gear over Weapons first, but I'ma save as many as I can and see what other Gear I can get. There's no rush, I love to enjoy a game as much as I can (:

Same. I got light by chance from the nightfall. And got the arm piece for my titan so halfway to 34. Might do the 34 poe and get my warlock up with that reward.

the only way you wont at this point is if you actually try avoiding it, they handed out SO much gear, i would of had 3 34's today if i wasnt lazy with my titan prior to the xpac and leveled my ruin wings. i still have 2 more level 35 PoE runs to do, already got my 3 full 9-0 trials runs.

Lol. I used to play this game waaaay to much. I bought the HoW the day it came out and have only spent 2 hours playing it. I know I'm falling behind but it doesn't bother me like it used to. I'm hardly concerned. I'm tied up with the Witcher 3 right now. Destiny just doesn't have that same hold on me like it used to.

Sadly you don't have to "try" to be 34, if you play through all 3 PoE and do decent in the trials 34 just falls into your lap.

I just don't care anymore. I feel really jipped with the last two dlcs. I'll still play once in a while but I've only did one run through off the story..

I didn't rush it... It just happened and now I have 34,34 and 33.5. I've only used 1 etheric light so far and everything else is mainly from prison and trials purchases which are very cheap once you meet the requirements. I have 9 etheric light left atm and no idea what I want tot use it on. I got 0 useful stuff from my nightfalls too.

Nope. I too have been on a Destiny break. Finding it hard to care about playing right now.

Nup. Having a break from Destiny for a couple weeks. Popping in every now and then but not going hard. My 34's will come when their ready.

It's not hard...at all. The first day I tried the expansion, I was a 34 in like 4 hours. All you gotta do is get lucky and put on the armor. I went through trials and got almost every armor piece plus two of the same class item.
