Who cares, it's the future, just use hawkmoon or thorn if you don't like the bottom barrel thing. Also it's not like you can see the bottom barrel of the hand cannon unless you have one that has a muzzle on it

Well, I would use Hawkmoon, but unfortunately, that's a privilege exclusive to those on the other side of the console fence...
