While I honestly think the OP is a little too concerned with the weapon designs at this point, I'll also be honest and admit that he does technically have a point. However, this really isn't something new in terms of bad designs for Bungie, as there were a few things in the Halo universe that made no sense in terms of design, an example of which was the Military Police helmet in Reach that had the visor situated way too low for the wearer to actually look out through. Thus, my advice would be to let it go, because if you focused on bad designs, all of Bungie's games would have something to annoy you about.

  • I still haven't gotten over the fact that MC would basically have to be anorexic to fit inside his armor...

  • Huh, I never picked up on that, but I'll boot up the MCC today when I get back home and see what you mean. If that's the case, I'll never be able to unsee it. Thanks bud. :-/

  • The first game actually wasn't that bad... but Halo 2's Mark VI armor was pretty tiny.

  • Hmm, I think I remember that now. Speaking of the first game, Bungie themselves admitted that the design of the UNSC Pillar of Autumn made no sense in terms of a pilotable spacecraft since the bridge was under and behind the front of the ship, meaning that the pilots couldn't see what was above them. It's funny how many things don't make sense when you think about it. I still am a fan of Bungie though, so it's all good.
