Don't get me wrong I know Destiny is its own game but hear me out I. I was hoping to have an Halo type MMO in destiny seeing it has been made by the same people. Now don't get me wrong Destiny does things differently that I like but imagine this: Hallo the MMO where you create your own Spartan with the classes, of course Hunter, Warlock, and Titan. Supers are still there BUT it plays like halo. Same pvp dmg input as halo. Hits register accurately and precisely. I ACTUALLY want to use the vehicles to run ppl over with and when I run them over they don't just slide past my vehicle without taking little damage. Vehicles like the banshee or tank. Being able to throw ppl off their ghosts or da sabotage their vehicle with a grenade. BETTER rag doll physics. No weapons that is OP except sniper in a skilled players hands. HUGE maps. More games types. Social playlist. That's just some of the things. Also whenever I stick my grenade to someone for some reason it's never as satisfying when I sticky someone in halo. AND can we get some dual weilding smgs please!!??!
I mean can I get a BIGGER map with an all heavy weapon game type or how about melee and super only game type.
Can we have a little more imagination here bungie...AND also why isn't there an option to crucible/pve with helmet off. What's the point of character creation if only an handful of ppl can see my creation in the tower or reef?
Edit: I like where this is going thanks for the mature feedback. Ps can we please implement some banshee like vehicles that's as rare or more rare than jelly? Would be a fun addition

Guess I'll just say that there's a reason it's not named Halo...
-
In the pvp aspect as you described yes that would be perfect

Found the video I was looking for. This guy describes how 343 created a noob friendly game with halo 4 and effectively destroyed the halo franchise for the older generation. A lot of the same game design went into destiny making it noob friendly like CoD. http://youtu.be/Dh_WOeu3q-k

-
Then it would he halo 4.5
-
I love halo as well but bungie is done with it and made something new. I want a different experience and i want to see how destiny turns out in the future as its own game

Blueberry yams XD

Some ppl don't get where I'm going , im saying keep Destiny but add features from a masterpiece franchise to make it better. Halo 1-3 better maps, better servers, less overly powered weapons, better use of vehicles, more game types, and better social aspects. Also why is the max fireteam only 6ppl? How about 8 or 10? At least for pvp
-
Why are we comparing these games they are completely different in every aspect

Halo's TTK is far better than Destiny, in my opinion. The fact that I'm murdered in under two seconds is annoying, and so are panic Supers. This is why I'm not entirely supportive of the new Halo 5: Guardians Fist of Panic attack. They can leap up, and then slam down to do an AoE attack. Is this the new standard? Because I really am starting to miss Halo 3 TTK, or even Halo: Combat Evolved.

Edited by Halo3 Iceberg: 5/26/2015 2:12:06 AMI do wish it was a bit more like halo, with some of the game systems and mechanics that they had used. For pvp, to have guns placed on the map and everyone starts with basic weapons and must run around for map control. This would eliminate the need for Bungie to keep nerfing guns that also affected the pve side of the game. * Custom games * Forge * theater mode * Meta scoring for missions and strikes * Optional Matchmaking for most activities (not for hard mode raids). * Crouch walking to stay off radar. The main thing I wanted to see was the way they told the story in halo to be also brought over to the Destiny IP. The narrative told through cut scenes with rich content and a few plot twists. Although we all know this went south when Joe left the company. They could have at least done a bit more with the Ghost, it being a glorified door opener is just lazy game design.

Ahmenn thank you guys us for feedback... its true must have has been enlightening eventho to miss those things things destiny must go only... I guess...tbh ima little more po'd from the feedback because it can be WAAY BETTER, but we will c

I like where it's at in terms of gameplay, other things need improvement though( balance, lag, ect.)
-
I hated halo multiplayer I hated how slow it was, never fast paced which gives me and most players a bigger rush, having to run the length of valus tarac's strike just to see another player without a sniper rifle, only one weapon of that tpye( one shotgun, one sniper and the likes), etc. Campaign is what destiny should have been, pvp should never be what halo was
-
Playstations halo lol
-
I think the core gameplay is insanely similar. Some things function somewhat differently, but that's fine with me... Just something new to get used to. There are so many things they could add to this game... They don't necessarily need to recycle halo to build upon the great foundation they have (Although, they really have in many many placed already... So... How about a poll option that says "it is already halo" or something :p)
-
I say. Scrap PVP. Copy Halos PVP
-
I'd rather just play halo
-
It does play like Halo lol

I know this isn't exactly what you mean, but if you look closely you can see a lot of gameplay features play like things in Reach did. The Titan lift feels a lot like the jetpack armor ability, the Hobgoblin shield thing is essentially just armor lock, pikes are similar to ghosts, the bubble shield was in Reach, and the Interceptor tank is like a one-seat Revenant with the Wraith's boost systen.
-
No, keep them as separated as possible. Let destiny be the game it is, a failure in story and PvP. Great art? Yep. Great mechanics? You bet. However the story and PvP pale in comparison to halo's story and PvP (in regards to 1,2, and 3 for PvP)
-
I want more vehicles, bigger maps, CTF, Griffball, and a BR. Other than that, it should stay as its own thing. (Though PVP without set load outs is retarded)

Edited by Evertill: 5/25/2015 10:23:50 PMYeah bungie, have a little more imagination and make the game exactly like Halo dammit! Nice logic bro

Edited by kidnapped317: 5/25/2015 9:42:28 PMHalo was too hard for the newer generation. That is why 343 is slowly distorting the franchise by turning it into CoD. There was actually a video a guy did that perfectly explained this. Kids just want to pick up a game and feel like badasses when they can kill people easily. This is why there is no skill based matchmaking and a ton of overpowered abilities and weapons. Destiny pvp is meant to hook the new kids by being extremely easy to master and play. Bungies Halo was not a pick up and be just as good as everyone else sort of game. You had to study the maps, the spawn locations, memorize the weapon timers, know the fastest route to drive a warthog across the map with a flag. Destiny holds your hand with these. It tells you where and when ammo spawns and now even who got it. The weapons all have massive aim assist making even the worst pvp players good enough to get a kill or two, the radar is always on telling you that people are near you, and they try to make everyone feel like a winner with rng when you lose. It's similar to the battlefield vs cod group. Everyone that I know that doesn't play bf won't play because it was too hard to pick up and be good at it. Only a few people put in the time to overcome the learning curve and be good at an incredible game.
