Hey folks, I know this has come up on the forums before, but I thought i'd let you all know my experience with one of the most under-used, and perhaps misunderstood grenade in the defender titan's arsenal... the suppression grenade. 34 PoE is a bitch, I think we can all agree, especially when you are level 33. The first 3 waves weren't the hardest, but my goodness, that 4th wave with arc burn? That was the round we wiped the most. Biggest reason? wizards... If you haven't used a suppression grenade on them before, you might want to start :) it effectively renders the wizard useless. No more auto-fire arc bolts, and annoying gas! It made the 4th round cake, with high discipline on my titan I could take a wizard out of the fight long enough to burn it down before it could do anything, then have my grenade ready for the next wave. I agree that it might make more sense to go striker for arc grenades plus blind effect, but I prefer to have blessing of light, especially when we are under levelled. Can't have the cake and eat it too, but at least there's an alternative. I'm not saying this is the best strategy, but my goodness did it ever help!
