COD should it die?
So should COD die? Did anyone play COD kangaroo's or AW as it's also know? Has Sledgehammer lost it? [spoiler]Like they ever had it MW3 was tripe.[/spoiler]
COD MP died for some after COD 4, MW2 or Black Ops 2 depending on opinions.
COD had its roll to play in forming the FPS genre but does it still have one now?

7 RepliesCod and battlefield need to go out with a bang. They need to take their absolute time making one final installment each for a grand closing of their respective series. You know, so we have a good taste in our mouths instead of the lack luster games we've been getting or bug infested ones

COD 4 was the best. MW2 was pretty good. After that it just went downhill. BO1 was ok, but to me, that was the beginning of the end. I've played the rest, but wouldn't buy them. Only way I'd buy another COD (maybe) is if they did a WWII game again for new gen.

Yep, should of died right after mw3. Instead we get more of the same with a small "twist". They are afraid to do something new.

That's why that such donkey ballz and that's also the reason Activision ruined Destiny story arc. Its no way in Hell Destiny can recover from this fail with their so called 10 year plan. Gaming companies give us bs because they made a decent game like "GoW Ascension" it kinda sucked

No, why should it? If you don't like it don't play it. But it gives other people who do something to get lost in. I won't buy another, but that doesn't mean someone else who likes it won't. So if it doesn't bother you in the slightest why even care?

4 RepliesCOD was really good up to the end of the MW series, I think that's where it started to loose its momentum as a good FPS campaign, multiplayer hasn't been good since MW2 in my eyes, Its just Activision milking it for those last few bits of money for the series completely dies out and they have to move onto something new, but with the return of guitar hero that'll get milking focus

1 ReplyCod needs to stick with what it is best at. This future shit is a turnoff, and boring. It works for games like Halo and Destiny. Stick with modern weapons and tactics. Hell, I had no problem with WW2. That's what COD is best at. Until COD returns to it's roots, its games will continue to suck

I feel like they need to take a break, research what makes each developer great at their versions of cod and give them the time they need to create that game. Now they're just throwing out a cod every year to appease MLG/regular cod players who just complain about it anyway.

Should it die? No. Should it take a break? Yes, give time for demand to build up; let the players miss it for a while, so they can appreciate it again.

Nope. I wish they'd remaster the Mw series or blops 1, but it's cool.
