The Breaking Point
the trials of Osirus....
i dont knnow whether to be disappointed or mad at this point...
everything has a limit and mine has been broken
i have played the Trials of Osiris everyday since Friday when it released with a few of my good friends and we have not once been able perfect it let alone finish nine matches with out losing.
our struggle has demoralized us and destroyed our enjoyment if there ever was any to begin with, when playing the Trials of Osiris.
its a mess we tried different weapons different combos different strategy but that only gets you so far.....
to an extent people all over the forums have become a toxic dumping grounds of insults and belittlement, saying things like the light house is for pros and the best of the best, get gud son, learn to play, noob, fag, etc, this has destroyed any value to the light house as it houses no light but a cowl of darkness itself.
well this is it a couple of my friends have agreed its pointless to try for so long and receive nothing but trouble, bungie if in some way you find this i commend you for making this game type it is exhilarating to play when on equal grounds with another team.
but i fear many things were overlooked, missed, or accidentally left in.
well enough is enough my drive is gone and the need for anything related to the light house has been case aside, i don't care if people call me a noob, or a scrub, or any of the normal insults anymore.
i permanently quit the trials of Osiris it is nothing more than an extra area filled with hatred, thugs, and cheats
i don't wish for pity, and i don't seek, anyones approval i only wish to share this experience of my breaking point, and what strong destructive power people have over others.
Because in the end the real trial is the Trial of sticks holding together what little fun is left for people to find within it

I'm pretty awesome at pvp if I do say so myself and I felt like I worked hard in the trials(played with LFG randoms) and I came up 8-1 twice but I didn't give up. And I'll tell you I was sweating when I was finally on game 9. If you want it just work for it.

1 ReplyThe PvE is not really my thing, but now I have to play Prison of Elders? The good thing about Destiny is that you had options and different ways to level up your guardian. You don't have to play ToO. Some people didn't like Iron Banner for the same reason. I am a competitive gamer and want to play better against other humans. Maybe you never took advantage of Iron Banner. That is a easy way to find good gamers and practice new load outs. Most people that play Iron Banner play together and use a mic. Communication is important if you want to win. The thing is not to give up, but practice at the things that we are not good at.

It's not hard, just gotta have communication in trials. And don't feel bad if you lose because there always going to be a winner or a loser

Go to Twitch, and ask a streamer or a viewer for help. Use LFG. I find that people would rather cry about it then to really chase after their goals. If you really want that flawless, you'll keep pushing to get it.

'Hatred, thugs and cheats' Oh please the only way people would hate you is if you took them off a flawless (understandable) Thugs? On a video game...seriously.? Cheats? Since playing from Friday I have come across one cheat (lag switcher)

1 ReplyI love playing PvP because on any given day I do things that even amaze me. It can also be really frustrating at times. Don't give after three days because you are trying to be perfect. Not everyone finishes the race at the same time. Keep at it!
