It would be really beneficial if we could buy items from vendors straight from the app. Scenario — I am in a end game boss in the Prison of Elders and have attempted to beat it numerous times with my fire team. After a while we sit in the airlock thinking of a plan but even with that plan our weapons are not powerful enough — we lack the materials to upgrade our weapons. So I say "Hold on guys! I have a have glimmer to upgrade my weapons, let me just buy some Relic Iron to do so; I would then go on the Destiny app and purchase said materials from the appropriate vendors. Resulting in stronger weapons without having to quit a boss battle and a loss progress! What do you (Bungie and community) think?
