http://www.defensereview.com/chiappa-rhino-6-shot-357-magnum-revolver-for-concealed-carry-ccw-applications/ one of several obvious inspirations... But the bottom line is, they are clearly energy weapons... Why doesn't the Scout rifle magazine bother you? Or the Fusion rifles! Don't get me started on those... I mean really, the inverse plasma coils would barbeque your hands if energy was allowed collect *outside* the condensers in a frequency visible to the naked eye! ...and how the hell does my pointy robot's ears fit into that skinyass warlock helmet?!

  • Inspirations, yes. But just because something is inspired by something else, doesn't make the design correct. I can design a firearm based on any other firarm, and still get it wrong. Fusion Rifles don't exist. They're pure fantasy. They work "just because". There is no real-world comparison to be made with something that doesn't exist. Implying that because something fantastical exists, that the design of something based on a real-world example is therefore allowed to exist even though it wouldn't work is a logical fallacy of some sort, I'm sure. Your pointy robot ears can be removed. Boom.
