Do you feel like you are obligated to go to church? If so, why?

  • No, but it is very healthy. Unless you have a corrupted pastor (in which I have). I want to go to church, opposed to feeling "obligated" to do so. I go to "get some fresh bread" as my pastor would say. After a while, the bread from the last Sunday I attended begins to get stale and moldy. Sundays are a time for a community to come together and celebrate and learn more based on their Faith in God and Jesus. It's a happy place and the highlight of my weak. I'm blessed to have such an incredible church and pastor right down the road.

  • I suppose its always nice to have a community to be a part of. Im not religious at all so i dont quite understand that aspect of it but you have the right to believe whatever you want, no sense teasing you about it

  • And that I can appreciate greatly. That's how I feel towards those who don't believe in the same thing that I believe. Although I wish others could feel the same love and grace that I have felt throughout the years, I can't disregard their prior beliefs or disrespect their will towards disregarding what I believe. I can't force anyone to come to Christ in other words. But simply keep those in my prayers.
