I agree with you on your point based toward prayers. I had a friend give up on her faith because she said God ignored her. HE grandma passed away and she prayed constantly for 3 days for him to bring her back. Obviously, she was not brought back from the dead so she gave up. This is unfair. You can't unfairly pray for things like that. God knows whats best. He will answer yours prayers with 1 of 3 responses; I will answer your prayer, I have something better in mind, or it's not time for that quite yet. But I do believe that if I live my life, work hard, and set the right example and live a life of faith and never worry about what's next (everything is in his hands) that he will take care of me and has an ultimate plan for me.

He has a plan. He will place forks in our paths. Which way we choose is up to us, but he knows the outcome for both potential paths you could choose. And he has plans for each of those paths as well.
