• You also have to look at is the government helping it's own people? God can use many different ways to help you, it's like you're going say hey God I need food I'm hungry and it magically appears in front of you

  • Name a few. I'm sure they are mundane things that happen to everyone. Probably mostly health related, and I'm sure the answer is modern medicine, not a damn miracle.

  • Oh man, you got me, you definitely wouldn't have any of that without praying. I wish I wasn't single, homeless and jobless. Guess I'll pray... Thanks for proving me right and you making yourself look stupid.

  • You were one of the worst Christianity supporters I've made a fool of on these forums. The laughs as a result of that were quite sufficient. Go on with your ignorance and belief in what essentially boils down to magic, just because an old book written by men tells you to.

  • You never did answer my question. If you don't believe God exists, why are you so intent on diminishing us who do believe he exists?

  •
Because it is equivalent to believing in imaginary friends. It's not healthy, has caused countless wars throughout history, and ruins critical thinking because you refuse to leave your box of ideas for fear of burning in hell.
Tl;dr your god is imaginary and I feel sorry for you.

  • You just said it's not healthy to believe in this God. Yet here you are diminishing other human beings for what they believe. Saying some stuff to people that you should not say. It's one thing to voice your opinion. It's another to persecute people. You could have said something to the wrong person, you could have effected them mentally. Damaged their mental health. Which, in turn, could result in physical health damage. You say it's not healthy to believe what we believe, and here you are shouting off nonsense that could harm someone mentally. So either you like to contradict yourself, or there's another reason why your persecuting. If you feel sorry for us, as you have claimed, then you wouldn't treat us like this.

  • That's sad actually. How small and uncomfortable that box must feel for you. You must be so afraid of that imaginary place called hell to deny critical thinking so strongly. I'll enjoy spreading my legs and running around with knowledge for the both of us.

You can believe what you want that is your choice and your free will, you can call me names and try to bring me down but it's not going to work I have been through worse and I have been called diffrent things, in the end I know who my creator is and I am not ashamed to proclaim Jesus christ is my lord and savior

  • The thing is, those cannot be proven to be acts of God and therefore must be listed as coincidences no matter how many you have.

  • By reading the comments some of you are not willing to believe you already have it set in your mind that no matter what your not going to believe so trying to convince you to believe is almost impossible, it's fine though, Jesus proved he was the son of God and yet people still did not believe him

  • My family went on a transatlantic cruise trip back when Iceland started spewing and messing up everyone's flights. Two problems: We disembarked in Barcelona and hoped to go to Poland to visit some relatives but no such flight from Barcelona to the city in Poland existed. Second problem: once we wanted to go back to America, we wouldn't be able to since the volcanoes shut down flights for weeks. What ended up happening was an obscure airline opened up nonstop flights from Barcelona to the city in Poland that started on the day we disembarked and the day that we booked our flights to return to America, all of the volcano stuff disappeared for that one day. My point is, those would be crazy to say that they're both coincidences and not acts of God but because you cannot provide any evidence that God influenced it you have to call them coincidences or "luck".
