You are correct, BUT you also get 5 points for trying out salvage for the first time in addition to the first grimoire 25 win mark.
This is the case for all PvP game modes. First time you play you are awarded an introduction grimoire, then that's followed by the 25 win milestone.

yes, you do. Each Crucible playlist card is potentially worth 20 pts. 5 pts for unlocking the card and 5 pts for rank 1,2 & 3 respectively.
