Do you think your god has a plan for everything? If so, then why do you pray for good things to happen?

  • I don't tend to believe praying or good things is a very efficient use of prayer. I tend to pray for smaller, simpler, more realistic things. Most days I pray for strength to make it through the day, to prove myself, or to simply inspire someone. I pray for happiness and for close ones and their troubles.

  • Suppose you look Into the future and see what is to come. You know everything that will happen but maybe some action is required to set those things into motion. When God encourages prayer and others pray because it has power, then think, maybe that is what sets those events into motion

  • Or maybe not.
