I'm still early in the game (just finished No Man's Wharf, but I beat the Lost Bastille beforehand), so I was wondering what spots are good for online play? Either pvp or placing my summon sign? Also, it would be appreciated if someone can explain to me how matchmaking is done for DSII:SOTFS.
Thanks!

I've found the Shaded Ruins bonfire in the Shaded Woods to be a good summon sign area, also in Heide's Ruin by the first bonfire as well, but I can't find anyone anymore there, probably due to the soul measure or whatever.

Alright! Thanks!

For pvp, the bridge on iron keep at the beginning works wonders. Matchmaking is done via soul memory, which are the total amount of souls you've collected in your profile. Anyone that has a close SM, you can play with.

Thanks!

The bridge in Iron Keep has always been the #1 spot for pvp. Another common spot seems to be right outside the bonfire at Dragons Shrine.

Edited by Faliz18: 5/30/2015 1:00:40 AMForgot to mention that the Belfry areas (one is near the Lost Bastille and another is connected to Iron Keep) are other pvp hotspots linked to a covenant Co-OP is easy, just drop your sign practically anywhere. Outside more difficult bosses works best, like The Pursuer, Mirror Knight, Fume Knight, Sinh, Freja, Old Iron King, Lost Sinner, etc
