I just killed Freja, where should I go next? And please, please don't tell me I have to fight the rat authority or whatever, I can't even kill it's minions before I get destroyed, if I eat moss then I get rekt, but if I run then I'm still poisoned.

  • I feel you on the rat authority, it's just all about getting those minions down quick and then staying behinds it's legs. Probably one of he harder boss fights for me to be honest.

Freja is one of the the 4 bosses who carry Lord Souls. The others being The Lost Sinner, The Old Iron King, and The Rotten. I'm going to assume you've already dealt with the Lost Sinner. To reach the Old Iron King, you must head through the Huntsman's Copse after paying the chick from Heide's to rotate the room for you. To reach the Rotten, you must go down the big well in Majula. You can either buy the ring from the cat that will let you survive the fall, or pay the guy you met in Earthen Peak to lower a ladder once you get him to move there. If you've already done both of these, head to the Ruined Fork Road bonfire in Shaded Woods. There's a door at the end of one of the paths that leads to Drangleic Castle, and will open once you have the 4 Lord Souls. The Royal Rat Authority is an optional boss fight, and very easy if you're quick. Try using a ranged attack to quickly take out the small rats before they can poison you. Once they're dead, the actual boss is super easy. Just try to stay underneath of him and attack his back legs.

  • Do you have any tips for The Rotten? He seems really easy but I usually mess up around half health. Plus every time I die I have to individually take out EVERY ONE OF THE -blam!-ING STATUES. AGAIN.

  • There is a hidden bonfire right by the boss entrance so you don't have to keep going through

  • Summon help. Also drop your sign and help others a few times, this way you get a bunch of souls, and if you die in their world you won't lose them. Spend the souls to level up, go human and Summon others

  • I'm always human, I hate being hollow. As for the souls I've been doing the summon sign a lot, I have the Sunlight Spear but not enough Faith to use it, I started this character about three days ago.

  • Being hollow is awesome. It's too costly to stay human

  • I use rings of life protection, they're cheap to repair and I always carry at least two of them. plus if I do turn hollow I just place my summon sign and help kill a boss, and then I get souls from that, being human is easy if you do it right.

The first tip I have is make sure you're starting from the second bonfire. It drops you very close to the entrance to the rotten. Just make a run for the fog door and patch yourself up before you enter if necessary. As for a strategy on him, it would depend on your build. I usually run a tank with an UGS. I just try to circle behind him while blocking until he is misses an attack, and then I 2 hand attack the ship out of him. He's really not too hard. Just make sure you have a good shield, or are good at rolling. None of his attacks are anything too difficult to block/dodge.

  • It's just his attack with multiple, I have a +10 bastard sword and vengarl's shield. He slams down once, (I'm not good at dodging) then all my stamina is gone because he hit my shield, and he either finishes me off, or pins me in the fire because he's so fat. It's not even him that's the problem, it's the billions of -blam!-ing statues that shoot poison nonstop and come back when I die. I've tried just running past, but that's not working so well.

The key is getting behind him. If you just circle him with your shield up, eventually he'll go for a power attack and miss, leaving him vulnerable(He does a forward lunge where he slams his sword straight in front of him. This is your best opportunity, as it's very easy to avoid if you know it's coming). Just take your time and try to keep him away from the fire pits. I had some trouble with him initially as well, but trust me, once you get a feel for it, he's one of the easiest bosses in the game.

  • Ha, for the longest time I thought Lone Hunter Schmidt was a real person. You said the second bonfire? How do I get there? I turned my xbox off for today but I would like to know where the bonfire is and also where Lucatiel of Mirrah is.

When you get to the last big room past the two worms just follow the cliff to the right and you'll see there is a hidden path leading into a cave. Lucatiel is in a hidden area you reach by jumping down to a platform by the two worms. Her summon sign should be at the 2nd bonfire.

  • Man, I thought I fought my last giant in killing The Last Giant. That was certainly not the last giant. Any tips? Is Lucatiel behind the two giants?

Ok, so my bad, I told you the wrong thing. The ledge you need to drop down to is actually further back nearer to the first bonfire. Just light a torch and follow the ledge to the left outside the bonfire and you'll see it. And fyi, that was not even close to the last giant. Those guys are -blam!-ers. Fighting both at the same time is suicide. You have to lure one out and kill them one at a time. But don't even bother with it now, you won't have to bother with it until you get to Vendrick, but that's a different topic altogether.

  • I hate unblockable things, those giants annoy me, I got them but it was close. I found Lucatiel afterwards, she was useless in the fight and so was Lone Hunter Schmidt. I got the boss down though. Also the giants have bad eyesight, you can walk all the way around the room without alerting them, its probably due to the fact that their face is just an empty hole. So where to next? I've taken out Freja and The Rotten.

  • The Old Iron King. To get to him, you have to talk to the cleric in Heide's Tower of Flame until she moves to Majula. She moves to the tunnel that originally took you to Heide's. She can open up a new path if you pay her. That's the way you need to go.

  • Which lord bosses have you killed? Fighting the RatA just run around the room to where the least rats are, then the Boss will spawn in front of where u came in. He's the only one with a Mohawk just use a Greatsword and whack away.
