Guardians fighting the darkness, taking back Earth and beyond. We destroyed the Black Garden, we defeated the Hives god and captured the Kell of Kell's. Now we.... Wait for it... Spend our time going into a prison with the goal of killing inmates, while the warden taunts us with mines and VIPs. What? What about the traveler? What about the darkness surrounding our solar system? We had a cause once, but now... I don't know why I'm fighting. PoE is a grind to get 365 weapons and 42 light amour. That's it. There's no story, there's no reason guardians should be there. The queen hasn't given me a reason other than loot to fight in her prison: guardians fight for more. We are wasting our light.
