The issue may not be that the thread is being buried by Bungie it's that people who don't care for the topic may be hiding the post which forces it down the list. It might be worth checking this effect just to be sure. Cheers

I'm interested in how the trending feature works as I find it confusing. Are you able to shed some light or point me in the right direction to read about the matter. Thanks in advance of any assistance.

  • As more posts or likes are accumulated the thread goes up. Unless it's about matchmaking or any one of the half a dozen other area's bungie is crapping the bed on and knows it, in which case even if the thread is getting posts and likes and sitting atop the entire trending list, it simply goes away from the lists. I still get the occasional troll comment from people trying to argue, they weren't deleted, just taken out of the lists that would let new people see them. Happened with this thread twice yesterday. That's why the 3.0

  • Thank you the confusing thing is that since the forum opened pre-alpha the most innocuous and unsensational topics with lots of replies and likes can be at the top or equally at the bottom. I thought perhaps ranking has to do with the rate of likes and dislikes over time. This would make more sense. Given the confusion over how something trends or becomes top rated it's hard to know what is driving the observed effects. I just favourite posts I like and follow these - which suits me fine. Thank you for responding appreciate you taking he time.
