I say the majority because its what everyone uses, not necessarily what they want. The fat you speak of is not something you should so quickly shrug off either. Those players benefit from lfg whether they realize it or not, and a vocal minority or an ignorant majority doesn't make my reasoning any less sound.

Your "reasoning" probably can't be made any less sound. You've about maxed that area out by pursuing an argument that actually argues for the opposing point of view.

This is a misperception on your part. My point has been simple and clear. Matchmaking can work if implemented with care and prejudice. The forums are a goldmine for finding new groups and dividing the ways you get that group will make the recruitment forum evaporate. Everyone will take the easier route and use matchmaking, which is sub par for finding reliable teammates for difficult content.

"Point" is a tad strong. Simple however, perfectly apt. And you're still saying "if there's mm, nobody will use the out of game methods". And you're pretty close to right. Virtually everyone would use the in game, faster easier method. BECAUSE IT WOULD BE IN GAME, FASTER, AND EASIER. Dumbass.

Edited by FireBroncaEagle: 6/1/2015 6:05:09 PMWow. That was harsh bro. I've not resorted to degrading your character because it has nothing to do with the argument, which j have to point out has been (I thought) cordial and mature. Regardless, you seem to agree, at least partially, that op mm would detract from lfg because it would be easier. The next thing I'm proposing is that this would make raiding less reliable and social because everyone could play micless without having to live up to the expectations of the fire team leader. Having the option to kick is essential in a raid. Having communication is essential for newbies and vets alike. Anyway...hope you have a fine day young man. Perhaps you'll realize how insensitive and ignorant you're being when you fall back on insults and objectifying remarks. Perhaps.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree. It's obvious we both enjoy a different future for the game.

That's unfortunate friend. I'm happy to continue discussing the finer points so we can reconcile our different beliefs. The truth is worth examining.
