Halo 1 PC frame rate laggy
Alright I need some help here ive been playing with the settings for this game and my nvidia settings for about 2 days. ive gotten to run pretty good at the high settings but its seems still it does have a slight lag i notice when i throw grenades and when i drive vehicles. in game i have it set up to 1920 1080 everything on and vsync off seems to work better with it off. on my nvidia settings i have anisotropic filtering 16x and antialiasing - FXAA on on the target line for the game shortcut i have -vidmode 1920,1080,60 -use21.
my computer specs are i7 3960x 3.30
32 gb ram
gtx 690
I know i have more then enough power its just a matter of settings if anyone else has any ideas to try that would be great I'd like to play some old school halo.
halo 2 was easy enough i turned off vsync on my nvidia settings and the game seems to work perfect

1 ReplyTurn anisotropic filter off and any AA (The engine doesn't support it.) Also if you got the 1.10 update then you don't need to use -vidmode also your computer supports full shaders so no need for -use21 aswell. Another tip is that HaloPC, does not play happy with vsync, you will want to use no nsync at all times.
