Skolas Arc Burn 35 Glitch
We were attempting to complete the 35 Prison of Elders and comfortably got to competing against the final boss Skolas. After consulting many youtube videos of how to beat it we decided to try sniping him within the first 40 seconds, which seemed to work.. however, when we tried this technique we found that we were doing absolutely no damage when we didn't have the servitor damage boost.. about 37 damage per shot compared to 7000 damage for damage boost. Other players from youtube seem to still be able to do damage after the servitor bonus damage disappears.
How can we beat a boss doing that sort of damage? We had to give up on 35 after spending nearly 3 hours on it when we comfortably finished it last week with the solar burn.
I suppose we just wanted to know if this was a glitch? Also is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Edited by Untitled Goose: 6/1/2015 11:10:00 AMWhen you break one of his servitors, you get a 30 second buff where you can actually damage him. Have the 30 is up, he will go back to his near invincible state. To damage him again, you will need to kill a 2nd servitor, which will likely be on the other side of the map. If you do enough damage (which is likely what is happening in the youtube videos) the game will state "the servitor bonds are broken". At this point, you can damage him at any time for the full damage. Good luck, because when those bloody vandals spawn, bendy bullets and sniper shots will rip you to shreds. No pressure then ;)

You need to get him down to about 65% so that the chains are broken therefore you know longer have to destroy the servitors. You will get a message notifying you when it happens. From then just continue to snipe him ensuring you get critical hits only.
