I don't think it is as much of a problem with Thorn. I think it is mostly become bothersome due to the auto rifle nerf. This has made it be the gun many people dread, but if Thorn is nerfed another gun will become the "most dreaded". Moreover, I feel that Thorn doesn't need a nerf because it is not so good that it is always the clear victor. Guns like the Mythoclast, Last Word, and Red Death counter this weapon quite well.
