PETITION: BAN PRE HoW Legendaries From Crucible
This is pretty messed up. People should not have snipers with final round while others cannot obtain a gun with that perk.
Once more, how is it fair for players to use felwinter's with hammer forged while others need to rely on reinforced barrel?
Removing field scout is a big slap in the face for a majority of players. There's also a glitch to switch this perk with another before using a special ammo crate so you can get more ammo.
Furthermore, pre-HoW IB guns can be re-rolled for their previous perk rolls, while current IB guns cannot receive the same benefits. [b][i][u]THATS MESSED UP!![/u][/i][/b]
edit* - This does not have to apply to raid weapons, since they are obtainable and remain unaltered.
edit 2* - why are all of you butt hurt? over a few crucible weapons I'm receiving threats? Smh
edit 3* - It seems like without your weapons, you're all just defenseless. What a shame.
edit 4* - hurry guys lets have this happen before the next ToO.
edit 5* - Guys, this is only for crucible. If a special snowflake 'earned' his gun, then he's entitled to use it for PvE or let it sit in the vault like a collection should be - unused.

I hate the HoW weapons. They suck anus. Please stop being butt-hurt. I was excited for them but honestly all my old weapons are much more efficient. Besides some like the ToO Scout/Pulse and some others

So if you think this is a good thing for balance that is one thing. That is your opinion. But what makes you think that bungie will even consider your petition? When it's kinda obvious bungie didn't want this to be another cod and the imbalance is one of the things that makes the pvp unique. While people may find it unfair and bitch there are worse problems than the guns and perks they design like the growing population of cheaters. The guns have checks and balances all around you just have to be smart enough to use them against the wielders. It's the people who expect to be perfect at a game that get pissed when it's a fact of life that there will always be someone better than you. Honestly I think the pvp is one of the main things that makes this game stand out from others that and the raids etc. otherwise it would be just another shooter. So don't get pissy because someone has a perk you don't have or stupid bs like that we should be somewhat supporting bungie and helping them make the best game they can. Not the opposite and criticizing every choice they ever made for this game and it's not just you its the entire community at times.

People who put in the time to earn their stuff should keep it. I passed on a few get togethers with friends to grind old IB (before the increase in rep and changing the bounties to be easier) for weapons and to get them the way I wanted to. So -blam!- you for wanting to change that.

I tried to reforge to get rid of final round so people don't accuse me of abusing it (I don't btw). But after a bunch of flipping reforges it was still there....so i just kept it. However I disagree with your proposal.

And here's why: A lot of the older generation of guns have the old perks, but at the same time they required more effort and materials to max out (Ascendant or Radiant or both, while also having to upgrade its Attack stat as well ) ... while also requiring a Etheric Light if they're pre-HoW and pre-Dark Below to get past 300 Attack. They're older relic weapons, and having the more desirable perks is kind of like a reward for keeping them around.

1 ReplyHonestly I feel it's only fair that people playing since release back in September deserve to keep using the guns they worked for. In a game that's all about loot and progression, it's not fair for someone to work for a gun, spend almost 20 ascendant energy to max it out, and not be allowed to use it. People getting the game now will have no idea how frustrating. "Upgrade Damage" and "Upgrade Defense" nodes were.

2 RepliesDon't think for a second that Final round will continue. Bungie is going to remove it. Too many of the big you tubers have complained about it. That's the voice that Bungie listens too. It will take a bit, but make no mistake, a final round on sniper and hand cannon nerf is coming people. Start playing with other weapons now so you can survive the change. I just hope they address last word and thorn and not the hand cannon class as a whole. (Certainly not in pve)

It's fair, because we had to grind to get those before HoW.. Took like 59 re-rolls to get final round in my Spear. I don't even use it, since it's such a waste of special ammo after the patch. I'd honestly rather use Praedyth's Revenge. That sniper is boss.
