PETITION: BAN PRE HoW Legendaries From Crucible
This is pretty messed up. People should not have snipers with final round while others cannot obtain a gun with that perk.
Once more, how is it fair for players to use felwinter's with hammer forged while others need to rely on reinforced barrel?
Removing field scout is a big slap in the face for a majority of players. There's also a glitch to switch this perk with another before using a special ammo crate so you can get more ammo.
Furthermore, pre-HoW IB guns can be re-rolled for their previous perk rolls, while current IB guns cannot receive the same benefits. [b][i][u]THATS MESSED UP!![/u][/i][/b]
edit* - This does not have to apply to raid weapons, since they are obtainable and remain unaltered.
edit 2* - why are all of you butt hurt? over a few crucible weapons I'm receiving threats? Smh
edit 3* - It seems like without your weapons, you're all just defenseless. What a shame.
edit 4* - hurry guys lets have this happen before the next ToO.
edit 5* - Guys, this is only for crucible. If a special snowflake 'earned' his gun, then he's entitled to use it for PvE or let it sit in the vault like a collection should be - unused.

Make I fife eve to me, I suck at pvp but enjoy playing, a final round sniper ain't gnna magically make my game better, relying on body shots for kills and burning thru the first 2 bullets seem to negate the fact of having a long range ohk (headshot) precision weapon. U want body shots run a shorty.

I disagree that the weapons themselves should be removed, but I agree that something should be done about the perks that are now unobtainable. Final Round on Efrideets Spear was clearly removed because of the problems it caused in Crucible. But preventing players from getting it now doesn't do anything to fix the issue, only contain it. If perks are being removed from a weapons table (wether it's because they're OP, broken, useless or whatever), they ought to be removed from any version of that weapon. It only makes sense.[spoiler]For 'Final Round' specifically I feel a better fix had been suggested rather than removing it altogether. "Final Round activates only if the previous shots from the weapons clip hit a target" (Can be adjusted to a percentage of shots for weapons with larger clips) Who knows, maybe that's why they blocked it this time around? To contain the problem while they fix it?[/spoiler]

First come. First serve. Or the early bird gets the worm, whatever you wish to say, people who received those guns and loved them deserve to continue to use them, it's like giving somebody a burger and a pop, you can't just tell them that once they begin to drink their pop they can't go back to it if they take a bite out of their burger.

Edited by WarpPigeon: 6/5/2015 8:28:04 AMI have had my Jolders hammer from the first or second ever iron banner (hence why its level 300!), it dropped with the stats it has now because there was no re-rolling and i have never dared risk it as its my go to gun for all PVE and PVP content that doesn't require rocket launchers or damage burns for void/arc. it comes with smart drift control, rangefinder, fieldscout and reactive reload. (its on my warlock) why should i have my gun changed because it cant be received in its current form anymore? it makes it unique and its special to me having been with me so long. should i also have my Timurs lash changed because its icon is the old icon not the new icon. or how about my high lord fixer, its no longer available and no current guns have a reload speed that could possibly match it. maybe my hunter should not be allowed to wear the old style new monarchy cloak because it cant be gotten now either? if you go down this road where do you stop. I could roll my Efireets spear right now and get final round. but i don't because i like its current perks. why do i want to fire off 2 bullets just to get a garanteed kill with the last bullet. sure maybe in trials its a little OP but its also wasting a lot of ammo. and in 6v6 control games its even more of a disadvantage
