PETITION: BAN PRE HoW Legendaries From Crucible
This is pretty messed up. People should not have snipers with final round while others cannot obtain a gun with that perk.
Once more, how is it fair for players to use felwinter's with hammer forged while others need to rely on reinforced barrel?
Removing field scout is a big slap in the face for a majority of players. There's also a glitch to switch this perk with another before using a special ammo crate so you can get more ammo.
Furthermore, pre-HoW IB guns can be re-rolled for their previous perk rolls, while current IB guns cannot receive the same benefits. [b][i][u]THATS MESSED UP!![/u][/i][/b]
edit* - This does not have to apply to raid weapons, since they are obtainable and remain unaltered.

edit 3* - It seems like without your weapons, you're all just defenseless. What a shame.

edit 5* - Guys, this is only for crucible. If a special snowflake 'earned' his gun, then he's entitled to use it for PvE or let it sit in the vault like a collection should be - unused.

Edited by WarpPigeon: 6/5/2015 8:28:04 AMI have had my Jolders hammer from the first or second ever iron banner (hence why its level 300!), it dropped with the stats it has now because there was no re-rolling and i have never dared risk it as its my go to gun for all PVE and PVP content that doesn't require rocket launchers or damage burns for void/arc. it comes with smart drift control, rangefinder, fieldscout and reactive reload. (its on my warlock) why should i have my gun changed because it cant be received in its current form anymore? it makes it unique and its special to me having been with me so long. should i also have my Timurs lash changed because its icon is the old icon not the new icon. or how about my high lord fixer, its no longer available and no current guns have a reload speed that could possibly match it. maybe my hunter should not be allowed to wear the old style new monarchy cloak because it cant be gotten now either? if you go down this road where do you stop. I could roll my Efireets spear right now and get final round. but i don't because i like its current perks. why do i want to fire off 2 bullets just to get a garanteed kill with the last bullet. sure maybe in trials its a little OP but its also wasting a lot of ammo. and in 6v6 control games its even more of a disadvantage

While I respect different opinions and views, I must disagree. With the exception of the iron banner weapons (re roll stat weapons) getting a legendary to drop with the right stats and perks was like winning the lottery. In the vanilla game you would cheer when it happened! Taking something from players is never a good look. I propose that final round is changed so it does bonus "critical damage" instead of just a bonus to damage. The point of this would be to make snipers more effective against shielded enemies and enemies with bonus armour from using a super. I also propose a smaller ammo reserve for all shotguns. Eg. A total of 6 max ammo for Felwinters. You didn't touch on it but my idea for Thorn - DoT damage stops if the wielder is killed OR DoT only procs on critical damage. PvP fixed.

I believe its the combination of armor piercing rounds and final round that cant appear together, however I rolled high calibre rounds with final round Edit. Only jus read pre how guns can roll previous combinations of perks, It is a pre how efrideet spear i own tho so that may be the reason I got final round, I may try to get armor piercing and final round later. Maybe ill try for it on a how sniper this afternoon to see if it definitely is impossible. Only need new titan boots for all new exotic armor so I can waste a fair amount of motes lol

This is completely ridiculous. You can still obtain some of those weapons. Just do either Roc or Tiger strikes and the engrams have a chance (albeit a very low chance) to turn into either vanilla weapons or TDB weapons. Therefore you could get say a Judgement with hammer forged and field scout.

Second ur only other complaint listed is felwinthers lie if u need that shotgun so bad the u r terrible. I run with a two to the morgue and I destroy that felwinthers. So either u need to expand ur horizons and branch out and raid and do other things besides crucible. Or please turn ur game off, eject it from ur system, and snap it in half. There problem solved.
