PETITION: BAN PRE HoW Legendaries From Crucible
This is pretty messed up. People should not have snipers with final round while others cannot obtain a gun with that perk.
Once more, how is it fair for players to use felwinter's with hammer forged while others need to rely on reinforced barrel?
Removing field scout is a big slap in the face for a majority of players. There's also a glitch to switch this perk with another before using a special ammo crate so you can get more ammo.
Furthermore, pre-HoW IB guns can be re-rolled for their previous perk rolls, while current IB guns cannot receive the same benefits. [b][i][u]THATS MESSED UP!![/u][/i][/b]
edit* - This does not have to apply to raid weapons, since they are obtainable and remain unaltered.
edit 2* - why are all of you butt hurt? over a few crucible weapons I'm receiving threats? Smh
edit 3* - It seems like without your weapons, you're all just defenseless. What a shame.
edit 4* - hurry guys lets have this happen before the next ToO.
edit 5* - Guys, this is only for crucible. If a special snowflake 'earned' his gun, then he's entitled to use it for PvE or let it sit in the vault like a collection should be - unused.

I agree 110% because its stupid for people to shoot at he ground for that 1 shot body kill. also I agree with your 3rd edit because its the same with thorn if people aren't using thorn then they cant get a kill, get skilled, oh by the way I think thorn will get a nerf soon just like the suros so keep using thorn while you can.

Huh? You build a whole post around wanting to limit people's builds and then call them butthurt for disagreeing? I actually use two HoW weapons and an exotic for my Trials loadout so I'm following your suggestion, but I strongly disagree. If you can't find a way to outplay a final round sniper, maybe you don't deserve a trip to Mercury or whatever other thing you think you're entitled to.

No one made you disassemble your gear. No one made you wait until HOW to start playing. Regardless of which of the situations apply to you, that's your problem.

But would still be useful against someone with bonus armour from a super and in PvE content. Problem solved. ...now to balance Thorn (yes I have one)

I agree. If you can't get the same perk anymore the perk should be removed or added again. And you final round noobs, learn to headshot.

8 RepliesI think many of you are missing the point. None of this really mattered until ToO. Now you have specific weapons which offer a distinct advantage and are no longer attainable. While Destiny PvP itself isn't really balanced, there should be some reasonable expectations of balance. They removed the option for final round from sniper weapons for a reason. They removed hammer forged from shotguns for a reason. Now, I don't know what the limitations are for Destiny in terms of changing weapons perk rolls. I assume it somehow validates your log in but I suspect your characters gear etc is stored on a server, which means changes to perks are plausible. If bungie removed the option I would have to believe it's because they deemed the combination to powerful. Leaving it on/active weapons and making it unattainable (equal footing) to players coming into ToO or PvP in general is bad business. You can cry all you want and say you earned this or that, call people scrubs or Xmas noobs, It's still a balance issue and needs to be addressed. TLDR: Either make it available to everyone, or no one.

Especially handy in Trials as I also do this before loading the game and as soon as the game starts I switch to perfect balance - means I start with 12 bullets rather than 3. Currently in the process of finding an even more OP roll for my other Spear to replace Surplus, I'll probably go for Unflinching for when it gets Patched or Rodeo to improve the Stability.

Excuuuuse us? We can't use weapons that we RIGHT SO got by playing longer and before you guys? That we took the time to get? That excitement when you got a random LDR with great perks instead of buying one or getting a Her Benevolance and then rerolling until it's the perfect roll? there is no excitement in the crucible anymore because everyone has over powered guns. #NERFREROLLEDHOWWEAPONS
