As far as your video is concerned.
[b]1st Clip:[/b] your spamming grenades and your melee missing your targets most of the time, by the time you killed any of them your lack of skill is obvious
[b]2nd Clip:[/b] You blinked over a guy to get 1 shotgun kill. That is not even remotely impressive.
[b]3rd Clip:[/b] 1 shotgun kill, failed to kill the second guy, third guy you missed your first grenade because you have no aim and got him with the second. Again nothing impressive.
[b]4th Clip:[/b] Nova Bomb to take down a Ward of Dawn and kill a 2nd guy with a heavy. Piss poor easy to do.
I can break down your whole montage if you like. Not even two minutes in and all of your clips are unimpressive kills where you were either extremely inaccurate or killed one person.
If your aim was to make a montage similar to an action movie you accomplished that.
If your aim was to make a montage displaying skill and impressive plays. You accomplished none of that. Judging by your post you seem to think you have skill when you're merely average at best.
I can do your stats as well if you like :)

The game mode is a competition aimed at a competitive atmosphere. It would be much more competitive if there was skill based match making but nevertheless its still competitive.

You picked out the aspects of the game you can't get paste but this isn't call of duty or halo. Everything has a counter. Its a different game and its competitiveness is going to be different. This isn't a regular fps.

No its actually not considered competitive. It has homing genades for God sake. Until MLG pick it up or it gets balanced like I suggested then it's not competitive.

Competitive - of or relating to a situation in which people or groups are trying to win a contest or be more successful than others : relating to or involving competition Trials falls under the definition of competitive. Obviously, its not on the competitive circuit in MLG but that doesn't mean the games not competitive. Explain the competitive community on destiny that has clan battles etc. Its somewhat underground but there already is a competitive community for destiny (not just for trials). There are plenty of people who follow destiny and the competitive aspects of it. You clearly have no PC MMO experience and are used to regular FPS games.

I'm not sure how you're not getting this. Destiny, in all pvp modes is considered casual and not in the slightest bit competitive. It's extremely unbalanced and broken. I won't reply anymore. I feel we will be going in circles. I suggest you play Halo 3. That will show you what competitive gameplay feels like. Good day sir :)

Crucible is casual i'm not disputing that however Trials is competitive and there are ways to set up clan battles. Your close minded and don't understand this isn't a regular FPS, so I understand why your not getting it. Your original comment about shotguns also shows you don't understand competition. Good day.

I agree with most of what you said and I watched your trials vid... Wasn't seeing anything montage worthy. Just you walking up behind a team and shooting them with a shotgun mostly.

I agree its not flashy or anything crazy but from a competitive stand point I think the video is a good display of Trials Gameplay. I also felt there isn't much more you can do in Trials than take out the whole team in one clip. Thats why I advertised the title of the video as making plays in Trials. Thanks for your feedback

Ok it's just that I think that montages are supposed to show the crazy things you've done in a clip. If I made one I would put in videos of me quickscoping someone or multi kills.

I agree if it was a regular crucible montage thats what I would shoot for but again Trials is competitive so I classify it as a different type of montage. Almost all of the clips are triple kills which is the entire enemy team. So I felt that for a montage specifically dedicated to Trials i achieved clips worthy of a Trials montage. Also I haven't had a good sniper but I just got my No Land Beyond maxed so hopefully this weekend I can hit some clips with it in Trials.
