Vex got inaccurate after recent patch
The almighty Vex got so innacurate its not even funny, even at point blanc range im having difficulties at killing someone. Vex was perfect before this patch, not OP nor weak. Please undo the nerf for the Vex Bungie! It was one of my fav weapons in PvP and PvE.
Edit 1: nice to see majority of the people are agreeing. There are some people that say that they didnt noticed anything though.

It was affected by the fusion rifle spread increase accidentally when the patch first went live. It was supposed to be fixed and many thought it was when HoW came out but apparently the nerf for fusion rifles was accidentally taken out and when put back in the vex got nerfed again accidentally.

I love this gun and it was fun before the most recent patch. I used it recently and thought it was broken.

I noticed a difference in the Vex a few months ago when they initially pushed the cone spread patch through. It never felt the same to me after that. I have no idea how it feels today though because I haven't used that gun in months.

I don't think so I killed somone from.a distance I shouldn't have. He was at full health then moved to a distance that should have be o ut of rang but I still killed him could have been lag

This gun still shreds as long as you're not trying to snipe people with it. It's still my go-to gun to turn around a bad game.

Around when HoW came out there was a fusion rifle patch and the same thing happened to the Vex, and bungie undid the effect on the Vex making it usable at mid range again, but now it's back. For those who say that the Vex is overpowered, it's an Exotic weapon, it's suppose to be better than most guns. At mid range a Thorn or Last Word can easily beat it (even prior to the update), and with the new patch any decent pulse rifle can. I've personally started using red death as it's now superior to the Vex at mid range by leaps and bounds. Even an oversoul edict is better.

3 RepliesIt's a cqc gun. It can still reach a 0,48 seconds time to kill. It also has the highest aim assist in the game. It's good up close but now it won't dominate at medium ranges with tlw and thorn. You should be happy. Now there's only two guns to nerf for the sake of weapon variety and balance.

1 ReplyYea Vex is classified as a fusion rifle so it was affected by the fusion rifle nerf patch. After all the nerfs on this gun i finally though it was some what balanced. I really think this patch screwed up this weapon and would want it reverted.

Oh, its a bug, Bungie forgot to filter it out, they didnt apply its 1.1.2 fix.

Seems fine to me. Doesn't cross map headshots like thorn but it's accurate unless you hold down the trigger for all the shots without adjusting for recoil

Noticed a little bit of recoil but I was using it for the fusion rifle bounty... Vex is an exotic, it's supposed to be a good gun. Bungie dun goofed
