It is balanced, people just don't like burning out.
Of the exotic HandCannons, it's the slowest two headshot kill of the bunch. Giving the player time to get to where he can be revived safely in ToO
Now if you are putting three bullets in to kill, that puts the TTK within milliseconds of legendaries, like TimursLash and illwill
Also now the Ram helmet ads 14% armour you can survive those two headshots.

What other handcannon is a guaranteed two shot headshot kill? There isn't one hawkmoon isnt a two shot unless you proc

If you hip fire the last word like it was intended to be used, it'll proc

The last word has a very high ttk but that doesn't change the fact the thorn needs a tweak

Range wise, maybe but damage wise it's balanced with other exotics

Lol no primary should be able to two shot you. I'm not gonna keep arguing I have a thorn and most reasonable people can see it is too over powered. The but compounded with send it and a two shot headshot kill is unbalanced

The two headshot kill with Thorn is a slow TTK, and no one complained about it until special ammo got short in supply. I'll take being killed by Thorn over blink shotgunners any day
