Forever eater and Qodron still way too hard

I played forever eater at lvl 34 last week after completing POE 28 several times and 32 once. In Forever Eater my team got stuck at Qodron and couldn't defeat him or even get out of the force shield bubble. We tried for probably 4 hours or so to puzzle it out, then quit in frustration (didn't play rest of weekend since I felt cheated). After uploading the fixes, completed nightfal in 45 minutes or so yesterday (would have been much quicker but we all died and got kicked once, oops...!). Then, on to POE 32 Forever Eater, played for 5 hours, most just trying to defeat Qodron', but couldn't do it. While I tried for 5 hours with team mates joining and leaving in frustration several times, total of 7 others had joined me. They were lvl 32-34 players and were all good players. I had the most kills at 303 and middling K/D which fluctuated depending on the strategy we were trying at the time. Invective was crushing the Eye and getting out of bubbles was possible. Several friend requests were sent and received. We commented about how rediculously hard this is versus anything else in the game at level 32 difficulty. Destiny - check my stats, everything I said is truth, please fix this as it is still way to difficult and does not fit with the other lvl 32 difficulty components in the game. It makes me wonder how you could be so far off in the assessment of difficulty that you must have done on this. Perhaps it is because you test everything with in house players that haven't been handicapped by not have a gally? Apparently a team of three with gallys can beat Qodron in under a minute. I won't play this part of the game anymore. Please don't mistake this as whining. Destiny is my favorite game, I love nearly everything in here, but this is so screwed up it compels me the leave this feedback and skip this POE component until fixed. This is NOT a fair challenge consistent with the difficulty rating.

  • Took us about a half hr to beat it with 2 33s, and 32. All our 1st times playing it. We went all the way left at the beginning runs, bad mistake as Qodron can get off middle platform and come for you, the jailbreaker goblin always spawned up by Qodron way too late, so shotgun method didn't pant out consistently. Altho during these few runs, we accidentally discovered A GREAT, SIMPLE, FOOL PROOF workaround to missing the jailbreaker in time, altho it is aVERY SPECIFIC class After we discovered that, we didn't sweat not getting him in time. We also took a test run to the right and found out that's the best place to stage your battle from. Lots of cover over there and jailbreaker is easier to find. I'm not gonna mention the strat we used out in the open because I'm sure it was overlooked when designing and testing, You can message me and I'll tell you. Yes we grouped as close as possible if not all together when detained. On a side note veryone focus firing with shotguns or Ice Breaker works pretty good too if you miss jailbreaker but that's not it either. No its not using SGA on detainment shields either. I'm sure someone else has figured this strat out as well tho, and I'm not sure if it would work ok thr 34 as we didn't do it last week, I don't see why it wouldn't as long as you are leveled appropriately to minimize damage taken. Moving along, I'm the only one with ghorn (365 too), so as they ran to the right corner. I unloaded 7 rounds in to him, popped a synth, used 2 rounds on my way to the corner as adds were everywhere. Hit him with another 5, switched to IB and ash factory with tripod. Teammate 1 used IB and a 331 launcher, teammate 2 used 331 truth and an LDR. I focused on jailbreaker when he came out but didn't stress if we didn't get him. Regardless if I got him or not I went after adds that were immediately near us so they wouldn't bust our ass in detainment, then I'd hit Qodron with crits with IB while the other 2 hailed rockets at him. Just kept doing that. Got on our 1st try to the right corner after 5 or 6 failed attempts on the left. Actually our very 1st run to the left we had him down to 5 percent health but we didn't focus on adds much and jailbreaker goblin kept spawning right next to Qodron merely seconds before detainment. Qodron also came down off the platform right in front of us while detained and was blasting the shit out of us. Just be patient, kill jailbreaker, focus fire on Q until detainment, focus fire again on Q while 1 knocks out adds and locates jailbreaker. Try to kill him as close to detainment time as possible.
