Enjoy getting banned
If you lag switch,
you're getting reported for cheating and connection. Every one of my friends report, and i encourage all to do the same. Cheaters with enough negative reports get banned from matchmaking. Bungie still needs to do something on their end to fix this problem further, though. I could handle all the thorns if they weren't lagging

7 RepliesBanana bread recipe Ingredients 1 1/4 cups sugar 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened 2 eggs 1 1/2 cups mashed very ripe bananas (3 to 4 medium) 1/2 cup buttermilk 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup chopped nuts, if desired Directions 1. Move oven rack to low position so that tops of pans will be in center of oven. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottoms only of 2 loaf pans, 8 1/2x4 1/2x2 1/2 inches, or 1 loaf pan, 9x5x3 inches. 2. Mix sugar and butter in large bowl. Stir in eggs until well blended. Add bananas, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt just until moistened. Stir in nuts. Pour into pans. 3. Bake 8-inch loaves about 1 hour, 9-inch loaf about 1 1/4 hours, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Loosen sides of loaves from pans; remove from pans and place top side up on wire rack. Cool completely, about 2 hours, before slicing. Wrap tightly and store at room temperature up to 4 days, or refrigerate up to 10 days.

I agree with you OP. Many haters on here blaming poor connection, though when mine is perfect and some teleports in front of me and I get shotgunned is bullshit. I'm not mad if they have good tactics and I get flanked, since that's the way of the game but I they appear out of -blam!-ing thin air and get the kill, I get shitty

I report in-game if there is a blatent lag switch. It is easy to tell between "lagging" and lag switching. Though, even if you make a mistake and misreport a cheater, if Bungie is at all competent they can definitely tell the difference between a poor connection and connection manipulation.

I sometimes have a red bar connection and I can't really do anything about it. Even some cases, you too get bad connection. I use an Ethernet cable and I do have my times that my connection is taking a piss. You can't report someone based on a simply flaw you see I am glad that lag switchers and being banned but we can't tell that someone is just "lag switching". We all know that when you do, you are frozen on the screen to everyone and you can run around and do whatever. Well, sometimes the game does this. When I have a bad connection, I don't know how other people sees me but for me, EVERYONE is standing still. I literally cannot damage anyone. And when I look at the connection, it is always mine. But is it the same for other people? Because it seems like they take me down just fine. You can't determine wether one is lag switching or not. And you can't really just "report" someone because you think they are, for all you know they might just be having a really bad day.

I'm with you. I report everyone with a red bar that teleports and always encourage my fireteam to do the same.

I wouldn't report cheating every single time. There is a bad connection button to the right of the cheating button, press that instead and continue with the match. If enough reports pile up they'll look into it. It may not be perfect, but neither is reporting everyone as cheating if the connection is bad.

Not all lag is cheating. If I see a guy who runs endlessly and unkillably in a straight line and is toward the bottom on his team, I usually assume he just is trying to work through s poor connection.

Probably 99% of the time it's a bad connection. You are reporting people their connection not mixing well with to yours. The lag switch is not as common as people think, it's essentially the big urban legend of Destiny that people use as a n excuse cause they lost. I'm sure lag switching happens now and then, but this forum would have it seem that Destiny actually has a great connection it's just all lag switchers.
