No you don't understand I was so excited for iron banner coming this week I was going to grind for the efrideet spear final round but now, now it's gone forever and I will never get it but then I see other players still have it that is complete bs bungie made a gun with op perks that new players will never get? That's completely unfair

Then that's on you not on bungie yeah sucks for new people who can't get it if they started after HoW, but sureeeeee so unfair when you had plenty of IronBanners to have gotten any of Pre-HoW IB guns but like I said before that's on [b]You[/b].

His point is: Bungie removed those perks for a reason and added less powerful perks instead. It can be concluded that Bungie deemed those perks OP. It's unfair for new players or those without the OP perks to fight players with them. Imagine if the auto rifle and pulse rifle nerfs only affected new weapons after the applied patch. The community would run around with either OP auto suros or worthless ARs

And i can see why they removed it but removing guns that people own and earned rolled is quite stupid. Speaking in realitivly to the auto rifle and pulse rifle nerf, and buff of old and new that just doesn't work like that we're talking bout perks something, as and added affect to a gun making it work differently. Each gun works uniquely and you learn how to use that gun that you got and rolled to your liking.

They could have just edited the perks instead of adding new ones or removing guns

And they did remove it you can no longer get those perks unless you have old IB, which people could have easily gotten if they participated in it.

They didn't remove it. It's still on guns. They need to go into the database and erase, replace, or change the perk affecting all guns currently using it or guns that can use it

Yes i know they are still on the guns but you would also need to remove or erase alllll and i mean alll perks on the guns that have those perks meaning all old guns not just IB, I should have stated it more clearly all guns after and beyond HoW don't have the perka meaning it was removed from pool of perks, and even then [b]the only guns that can aquire them are old IB guns[/b] I'll also state that any gun can be countered it's not that hard.

If you edit the perk it'll adjust on all weapons with the perk.

And what happens if something goes wrong huh who do you think would be to blame for this? bungie? yeah they'll vtake rhe blame, but nope it would be the community that would be to blame for something going wrong with the perk transfer and removal.
