I don't believe in nerfs, there's been too many and probably some bad ones still to come. That being said, I was getting wrecked in IB on my Titan, most of it from thorn. So I switched to my thorn (still at 331) and went from last on my team to finishing in third. Didn't change my play style at all, just switched to Thorn.
I don't agree with nerfs! But what I did shouldn't be possible just by switching to a certain weapon.

Balance would suggest having every gun worth using. What we have is the cod balance system where only a few are useful, then when everyone uses the good ones too much and people complain they nerf them and buff other random weapons to shut you up or to fool you into thinking they did balance the weapons when in all actuality they just want to shut you up for another 3 months till they have to do it again.

This. Inb4 "git gud you just suck" etc etc etc.. I'm not very good at crucible etc, I admit that. However like this fella says I can switch to The Last Word and do considerably better than using most if not all other guns. Can't speak up much for Thorn yet as I don't much like using it due to everyone and their dog running about with it thus haven't yet maxed it. I do know TLW gives my pvp a considerable buff though.

Probably because the hip fire basically has an aim bot built in so all you have to do is point it in the vicinity and pull the trigger for head shots all day, that's why it's that good. I used one for a while till it got boring no challenge to use it but that just personal opinion.

I quite enjoy using Ill Will, that cannon is fun.. TLW and Thorn are just OP though. Fast firing, accurate regardless of range, super high damage.. they just work with maximum lethality regardless of situation.

The way these guns work is like an ecosystem since auto rifles are shooting marshmallows running with hand cannons is no longer as dangerous so obviously people will take advantage of the opportunity. Simply restoring auto rifles won't solve everything but it will cut down on hand cannon usage.

Tbh I don't want anything nerfed. Other guns should just be brought up to mark so the landscape isn't dominated by handcannons.
